‘offering wellbeing and social contact for carers’
The Carers Wellbeing Initiative offers relaxation, wellbeing and social contact - a short programme for carers experiencing physical and /or mental stress. Whether individual treatments or group exercises, you can benefit from the three factors underlying our programme:
health, wellbeing and prevention.
Our service is designed not only to provide therapeutic healing but also to help deliver preventative measures in order to maintain your wellbeing and help reduce your stress levels.
We understand that carers face a continual stress of coping with the practicalities of care along with the emotional strains and anxieties associated with maintaining a positive relationship and good quality of life with a loved one. Our programme aims to use recognised therapy techniques to help carers improve their own wellbeing and their ability to cope with care responsibilities.
